Right now I'm using the iTunes icon for Reaper, it's the more generic music related icon I found.

Does this mean "Yeah, exactly!" or more "Yeah, well...ehm...kind of..."?
I'm a little confused, if you have use for that icons or rather not. I made these two examples from vector files from the (in)official REAPER logopack in Illustrator and converted them online to *.ico.
I can offer you to make these for you, if you want. In this case it would be helpful to know where you got yours to pick the exact colors for the gradients and so on.
Cheers,
Peter
PS: At least, now I've learned, what a "Token Icon" is...

Thanks, you are very kind. I think the one from the right looks closer to the original 'Token' style, but maybe it should be just a little darker.
The original icon set called Token is this, I think:

Thanks again.

Ah, thanks for the link, I downloaded it and it seems that there's a Photoshop file included, that will make the color-picking real easy...
Stay tuned!

No color-picking needed, the Photoshop Template includes no icons, BUT the "effect chain" that's used to make it. All you need to do is place a white png in that template and apply the effect to it.
Try it out, if you want.
In the case of the Reaper Logo I assume he scythe might be a little too narrow. This depends of course of what size and resolution you use on your PC, which I don't know. Try the attachement (I had to zip it, cause one can not attach a *.ico here), it is actually 256x256px.
Edit: I just noticed that the online converter made a "multi-icon-pack" from 16x16px to 256x256px.
Edit2: attachement removed, added new one below in post #14.

It looks really great, thanks.
I use a 22" monitor with a native resolution of 1680x1050.

Could you make it a bit smaller? I feel it looks too big compared to the Cubase icon:

Thanks again.

O.k., this will handle it better than mine (Two 10 year old 17" 1280x1024px).
FYI: I installed the icon software that " brsev" recommended in his documents to have more control and insight and it offered to add some more icons from 256x256 downwards. I'm telling this just for the record, you probably don't need them.
OTOH, brsev made some modified FX layers for 48, 32 and 16px icons, he will have had a reason for that... ...I'm not an expert...
Anyway, it's in the attachement.
Cheers,
Peter
