Default Multiple Mic's with Focusrite Scarlet 18i8

This is a noob question but how do I setup Reaper to record 2 or more mic's? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

After making sure the Focusrite shows up as your audio device, is turned on and plugged in by firewire or usb, and the input range is set to the first and last in Preferences > Audio > Device :

Create one track for every mic you have in the focusrite.

Change the input on each track to 1, 2, 3, etc. For e.g. on my tascam unit it looks like this:



Turn on record arm on all tracks and hit record.

Also make sure your Focusrite driver is configured to use all inputs. Some drivers default to one or two inputs active (for some stupid reason!)
