sustain pedal bug via playing midi keyboard
hello guys. i googleing hard for this question but found nothing
when i use the sustain pedal with some VSTs (Korg M1 for example) and repeating the same note (to avoid micro pauses between each) it layers on itself and gets louder
for example in FL Studio i can hold the sustain pedal on and press one note any number of times and it still sounds solo but in the Reaper it seems like i get more and more midi keyboards pressing same note within previous keyboards
i could not find solution, please help

I think FL is doing it wrong. Reaper has the correct sustain pedal behaviour.
You could put a little release on the sound to fill the gap or you can make the notes legato after recording.

i just wanna set sustain pedal behavior way that i want. even if it's incorrect

No problems here with the Sustain pedal and Live playing Kontakt instruments in Reaper.

Surely, it's the instrument that gets to decide how to respond to sustain / repeated notes?

So you need to find out what it does for you. (As Reaper don't do anything but just passes through the Midi messages.)

Well at least we know you're playing the keyboard now,.....still no idea if you loaded the plug correctly or are using the pedal correctly though.
