Default Copy/Paste Midi Note Length/Position of Time Selection Without Altering Pitch

Greetings,

I’m wondering if anyone knows of or can make a script that would do the following:

Copy all note lengths and note positions from one time selection within the midi editor of a track and paste them to the same time selection of a second track’s midi editor without altering the pitches of the second track.

Thanks for your help!

Maybe there is something in the SWS Groove template actions that work for you?
They have selected notes or media item options.

Just search "Groove" in the action list.

Thanks Stella! That was a great tip and definitely could be a good way to go. It looks like Lokasenna has been developing a script that will take care of the issue and more!
