Default <<ERROR OPENING FILE(S)>> in Render

I have a project that when I try to mix it down (render) it stops and I get this message: <<ERROR OPENING FILE(S)>>

I have tried saving to a new directory with trim/convert to wav 24bit. It still happens. It plays perfectly, but doesn't render. I had to use 'Save Live Output (bounce' to get a mixdown in realtime.

Does anyone know any way out of this dilemma? Is there a way to verify all the files or something?

Thanks

The only time I get this, I think, has been when something was wrong with the file path here:

Try a new path perhaps? Worth a shot anyway.
