Default "Apply FX as new take"/render problem at 48khz

Hi

I've got a project that is set to 48000hz/16 bit for syncing to a video.

The problem is whenever I do an "Apply FX as new take" on a midi clip on a track with a VSTi, the resulting audio is off-key, slightly lower than it should be. I suppose it has to do with the project being set at 48000hz but I can't see how to solve that problem.

[edit] exact same problem when bouncing tracks to stems.

Can someone help?
thanks
d

Check this in the project setting (ALT+enter) and set it to 48kHz:

Thanks, I've tried it, but same problem.

The project is set to 48000, so is my souncard.

Any other ideas?

Bumping this. Should I move it to the Bug Reports forum? I'm still hoping it's some option I've checked without realizing that's causing this.

Summary: I have a project set to 48000hZ/16 bit and whenever I render a track as stem or "Apply FX as new take" on a MIDI item, the resutling WAV is out of tune with the rest of the project (pitch is lower).

All this even though my soundcard is set to the correct samplerate, and even the source info of the rendered parts shows them as being 48000hZ.

Any idea what's wrong?

thanks
