Default What's a good way to copy automation for several tracks

Say I want to quickly be able to copy, let's say, volume automation for one section of a song to another section across several tracks. What's the best way to accomplish this? I can't seem to locate any appropriate actions.

Quickest way is to use an Automation Item in the first place, an Automation Item will encapsulate all the automation you create in to an item, this can be treated like any other item, so drag/drop copy/paste, stretching etc etc etc.
It will change the way you work for the better in huge amounts.

Thanks, I was hoping to avoid automation items, but I guess that's the only way to do it. Here goes, I'll report here when I find a methodology that seems appropriate.

1. as vally said automation Items can be very handy for copy pasting points

2 Using Smart copy (Ctrl shift C ) and ctrl v. The difference between a normal copy (ctrl c ) is that the normal copy the points where smart copy the time selection area. The when pasting will be easier to sync.

3 Using an temporary item (MIDI ITEM or an empty item) with envelope points follow media items ON.
