maybe it is the same issue again, with special characters in the path of your resources folder. I should really investigate why this happens. What is the full path of your HeDaScripts folder? It works fine for me but I always use a portable installation.

That is correct. It should really work.
does "my name" have special characters?
There should be a HeDaMixer folder inside that HeDaScripts folder. And a file "Default Settings.cfg" there among the others, where it is specified the default font sizes, etc. If not, you could try to uninstall it from the Manager, and install it again.

Absolutely love Track Manager and Templates. Indispensable to my workflow. Quick question though, and my apologies if this is covered somewhere else:
Is it possible to assign shortcuts to the following actions
New Track Version Clear Items
Go To Previous/Next Track Version
I'd probably use track versions more often if I could navigate them without clicking around.
Thanks again for your work!

Hi,
Nothing happens when I try to install any of the non-vip scripts. The ´install´ option disappears for a couple seconds, then it comes back to normal with the ´install´ option being displayed again.

Linux? osx? windows? it could be a firewall blocking internet connections? or antícirus blocking execution of unpacker 7zip or unar.

Sorry, MacOS.
Disable the firewall but still nothing: it goes `installing´ for a few seconds then goes back to as before.

did you install unar as explained in the instructions text? it is used internally to extract the packages into the folder. Sometimes it needs execution permission for the file.

Hey heda,
when I try to open your script manager, there comes a message saying:
Code:
Can't load file: HeDa Scripts\Scripts\HeDaScripts\HeDaScripts Manager\HeDaScripts Manager.lua
The same with every other installed script of yours.
This is after migrating my REAPER install to another computer. But I downloaded your install zip and replaced all the files in Data and Scripts.
Any idea what lead to this error?

what is the full path of "HeDaScripts Manager.lua"? is it a portable installation?
I don't know why are you getting that "HeDa Scripts" folder before the "Scripts" folder.

I think the entry in the action list comes from a former REAPER install. The other heda scripts that I can find there are not to be found under the resource path anymore. So I deleted them in REAPER. Now I loaded the scripts manager again into the action list as a new script and everything works.
Sorry for the confusion and thanks for pointing out the strange path!

Installation confusion
I am confused about installation. I am on SO X
You state that if I extract it to the resources folder, it will create the needed directories inside Scripts/HeDaScripts/HeDaScripts Manager
At which point will Reaper create the needed directories inside Scripts/HeDaScripts/HeDaScripts Manager? On restart?
Thanks

the program that you use to extract the zip file will crrate the folders. you should already have a scripts folder there. the new on will be the HeDaScripts inside the scripts one. on osx, you also have to download the unar tool as described in the install instructions txt

The Finder Extract simply extract and create the HeDaScripts Manager OSX inside whatever folder the zip was placed.. So if I place the zip in the Reaper folder it will just place the HeDaScripts Manager OSX inside the Reaper folder.
Maybe the instructions should be adapted

It does not move the content of your Scripts folder inside my already existing Scripts folder.
OK, I did this manually!

Install Heda script on Win 10
Hello!
I need your help to install Hedascript! I use a portable Version of Reaper 6.13.
Once i downloaded "Hedascript Manager WINDOWS" i dont know where i have to install or copy the different folders to?
I tried to move them manualy and with win rar extraction to Reaper folder
I read the instruction txt file, but it won´t help.
In reaper , i opened action list ...there is no "Load" in the action Window!
There is just Filter, wehere i can type something.

go to Options menu and "Show REAPER resource path" in explorer/finder
that will open the folder where you have to extract the files. If you use a portable version, it will be just the folder where reaper is located. You will see the "Data" and "Scripts" folders there.
In recent version of REAPER they have changed the actions window a bit.. the Load reascript is now in a menu when you click the "New action..." button

I was trying to set up this script over zoom with a guy on MacOS Catalina. Tried putting unar and lsar in the 'reaper' folder, and user plugins but same result.
I got unar from first link on left here https://theunarchiver.com/command-line
what did I miss?

only unar is needed.
the unar goes in the resources folder that is inside the hedascripts manager folder

On a new laptop Win 10,I cannot use anymore Heda Manager. Probably, because the user name path uses greek font.
Any way to get around it?
Changing the user name path may be risky for the system...

Maybe you are right and the greek letters are causing the problem.
I would suggest you to install REAPER in portable mode... it is much better.. just install it to C:\REAPER\ for example.. and then if you ever want to move that REAPER to another computer you just have to copy that folder and done.

Manager won't install any script anymore.
When i hit install button on any script, installation statred, but after completion its nothing happed. The script not appears to be installed, and no new files downloaded.
Further investigation with ProcMon(I run on Windows) shows that the url in the curl parameter is generated with '0' for spaces instead of '%20'.
For example like: ..."/Import0Export0Subtitles/Import0Export0Subtitles.7z?v=1.4"
So, I can download archives manualy by correcting urls.
But for the icon files, the url generated correctly, and Manager download it with no problem: ..."/Import%20Export%20Subtitles/appicon.png"
I run on the last version of Manager. Today it's 1.2.

Everything was going swimmingly until I got the VIP membership and tried to download VIP Installs. Now I get:
Code:
HeDaScripts Manager__DEV__.lua:648: bad argument #1 to 'open' (string expected, got nil)
This is using HeDaScripts Manager v1.21 in REAPER v.6.36 on Mac OS 11.6

Issues updating using Scripts Manager
Hi
Using Windows 10 Pro, Reaper 6.37 RC4, VIP account.
Downloaded latest version of Scripts Manager from here:
https://reaper.hector-corcin.com/app...cripts-manager
It says latest version is: "current version v1.10 2019-06-20"
Installed (again) and get same error:
"There is a problem reading updates from the server. Try again later"
Where do I find version 1.21?
This was working some 10 days ago - not sure what (I?) changed to make it fail?
Thanks
BB

Settings and custom themes are in the folders that end in "settings". The other folders are entirely replaced with new versions. All settings in the settings folders are maintained so you don't need to copy/paste anything when updating.

Me too! I've got the same issue. I am pretty sure that is has to do with the username. It should work with any username in my opinion.

sorry I don't know why it doesn't work. One way to solve the issue is to use REAPER in portable mode. for example in C:\REAPER\
this way the scripts wont have the problematic characters and the path would be C:\REAPER\Scripts
