Load correct patch on hardware synth?

I'm considering buying a hardware synth (likely the Korg Minilogue XD) as I'd like to use some tactile controls outside the box.

However I'm not aware if it's simple to set it up, so when I load a project it will automatically set the synth to the right patch? A total recall solution.
