Make recorded CC events use default CC shape

When I'm recording MIDI while using the mod wheel, then delete some CC mod data, the resulting line is square between the remaining points, not linear - even though I have 'default curve shape' set to linear. I keep having to right click every adjustment - curve - linear. Is there a way to make linear the default please?

Additionally I enable Midi - Options - CC/velocity lane - "Apply default CC shape to recorded events" but it made no difference.

Hi, I tried this out to see if I could reproduce it. I'm on a laptop without a MIDI controller attached at the moment, but here is what I did:

- Recorded a blank MIDI item
- Set the default curve shape to Linear
- Checked the option to apply default curve shape to recorded events
- Used my mouse to draw in some mod wheel CC data (this applied the correct shape)
- Deleted some points using my mouse (this also applied the correct shape)

I'm wondering if following those steps works for you? Just in case there is something specific happening in the scenario where you're recording the CC info instead of drawing it. It could help with isolating what is going on.

Yes, I think my problem was that I set the default linear setting after I recorded the notes. There's no way to change the CC values already set to square, but the default setting does work for new notes. So this isn't a bug.
