Glad people are still enjoying the theme!
Great to hear from you and glad you have been taking some time to do your own things! Since you spent so much time designing the best Reaper theme out there. Mojave is great too, easily the best Mac OS which still supports a lot of older drivers + 32 bit but with nice things like dark mode.

Hey mate, hope all is well. Yes enjoying Mojave, I'll be using it for a few years I think :¬)

By the way, once Smooth 2.5 has been out for a few weeks, I'll change the Creative Commons license to non profit only / no commercial so people can create and release mods :¬)

you should tell people that it'll be ready by the end of the year, then no one will give you crap!

Excited to see what mod folks do with this too!

Default Buttons and menu bars etc. colors

Amazing Theme! thank you!

Is there any way to get the buttons, sliders, fields and menu bars in the media explorer or media items properties windows to match the dark version of the theme?

Layout for transport doesn't really work right for anything but the default setting for this theme. Looks like you've set it to 150%.

Great to know this. I already did a mod of your theme but but I have kept it for my personal use only.

I eliminated the loyouts I don´t use and added a separator, among other minor changes.

Can´t wait to see the update.

Default adjuster header bug

I think there is a bug in adjuster script Smooth_6_Windows_theme_adjuster.lua header labels, they are off by 1 vs actual content of settings:

Global Settings page is named as Custom Colors
Track Control Panel is named Global Settings etc. (see attached picture)

Clock font in transport panel changes width during playback too much, difficult to track digits (see attached gif)

Hi there!
Don't know if it's just here, but the light version doesn't seem to be working properly as they both are looking the same and dark with no visible change whatsoever when i swap them.

very cool theme!! I really want to try it on my next works...but...how can i make a TCP separator?
I can hide everything in the theme adjuster but the Solo and Mute buttons...Is there a way to have a simple separator with just the track name and nothing else?
thanks a lot!

Default TCP Separator

Yes, that´s what I was always thinking and holding me back with this theme.
A separator is crucial when you try to organize big (100+ tracks) projects.

A separator please.

Great theme! How hard was it to round the track name box's corners? This looks very good.

Hi bose

Any news on 2.5 development yet please?

I really enjoy working with the latest Smooth theme, but the one thing that drives me crazy is that on Windows 10 with a 4k monitor at native resolution, in the Display Settings I'd like to set the "Change the size of text, apps and other items" to 150%.

But if I do that, the track names in Smooth are unreadable - it's like the font is suddenly 20x bigger than it should be, so I see random thick lines across where the name should be. (Let me know if you want a screenshot image to explain that better)

Making that Display Setting 125% or 175% works fine with Smooth, but (typically awkward me!) 150% seems like a better size for other things to me.

I hope this is something that can be fixed as and when you're able to complete the next release.

Many thanks
Andy

Smooth's adjuster doesn't work properly. Adjuster fails at startup and doesn't work correctly. Default adjuster is OK.

Downloaded this theme and love it ...but in this shot you can see my screen in the upper left, while the screenshot of the theme on the website shows a whole different look to the tools...

https://www.dropbox.com/s/tbyj7w869t...%20PM.png?dl=0

Want my tools to look like those!

What am I doing wrong here?

Also, how hard would it be for me to change the mixer meter levels to TEAL, like Cubase (I'm moving from Cubase to Reaper)....
Thanks
Tom

Themes don't add buttons. They just change what they look like. You would have to add those tools yourself. Bose just customized the toolbar to add things he liked to it.

Right-click in that area and select "customize toolbar", and you can add/remove anything from the action list.

Could someone tell me how to get the dark scrollbar from the Arrange to the Midi Editor as well (on Mac)?

I couldn't find a scrollbar.png file and I'm not sure what to do then.

I tried so many themes in the past 3 or 4 weeks and I always come back to this one. Great work!

As far as I can see, everything in this video works the same in v6.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDTi9uDwhf0

Just duplicate the contained scrollbar.png to scrollbar_3.png. Overwrite if needed.

Default Just a trivial thing i noticed

A month or two ago I downloaded this theme. It is really great! There is one issue that is not at at all important but it struck my curiosity. In the custom theme adjuster that the creator of the theme provided, the panels' titles don't match the parameters below. For instance, the panel labelled "Mixer Control Panel" actually shows the custom color settings. It seems the names of the panels have shifted by one space to the panels to their right.

I know this issue is trivial, but if anyone knows a fix I think it would help me know a bit more about how things like these are tweaked for a reaper theme!!

This theme looks really impressive, thanks! I've never switched from the stock theme but this one has me tempted. Wondered if anyone else has the problem I have though: in the installed fonts, the capital "I" letter seems to be corrupted. When I try to use it in a track name for example the result is odd. The "I" seems to disappear mostly, leaving a few pixels of corruption. Anyone else seeing this? The font installation seemed to go smoothly for me, no errors at the time. Lower case "i" is fine, and I haven't so far noticed any other quirks.

Thanks,
Alasdair.

I'm groovin on this theme, too! I just put a capitol "I" in a track name - no problems here.

I do remember having a similar problem a while back, (not with the letter "I", but with a small graphics element in the MCP that was way too big). Downloading the latest version fixed it. That was at least a couple of months ago (November 2020 or earlier)

I'm running the latest Reaper & Smooth 6 theme on 64 bit Linux.

Good Luck!

I created a Smooth FX Mod Version (trial and error - I have no clue of what I am doing). Would be cool to see that feature with the next V2.5 update!

I'd love to see that in the official release. I've switched to Realogix for that feature. Hopefully this will become available for all themes in the future

@b0se:

Luvin' this theme! I've been using it for a few weeks, and I am *not* getting tired of it. It just grows on me!

I have a request... can you add a "strip" layout? White Tie added "the strip MCP layout from the V5 theme hacked in" in a V6 theme that he shared in the third post of this forum: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread....ight=mod+tools

The strip layout works really well for getting an overview of a lot of tracks, all with the track names, faders and meters visible.

Thanks for this great theme!

Also really useful for me thanks, looks a lot tidier and it works on the scroll bars on media explorer waveform view box also.

how can I change the order of tcp elements from the config file?
I want to switch the position of PAN and IO.
I already changed all order numbers I could find under ‚Track Control Panel‘ (as described for the default theme) and updated the theme but it doesn’t work.

Does anyone have an idea or could direct me to some guide about how to add/create a simple separator layout (for MCP/TCP) for this theme? This would be a huge improvement for me as I am used to organize my tracks with separators.

I a really looking forward to add a separator track that include the track name.

Any help?

Default 150%

Has anyone found a way to make the 150% work? I'm on a 3440x1440 monitor and 100% is too small to read and 200% is too big.

I'm on Windows with windows scalled at 125% and everything in Reaper is scalled at 150%.
