New action request : Glue selected adjacent items (leave silence)

"Glue selected adjacent items (leave silence)"

Right now in the action list there are actions that allow the user to glue selected items, and if two items are separated by a silence, the silence is removed.

What could be very interesting is an action that only glues selected items that are adjacent (or overlapping), but does not glue selected items separated by silences.

This action would be really pretty cool to have, for quick cleaning routine, also for other stuff if you're imaginative.

I'd love to see this happening !!

That would actually be super useful. But I wonder if there's not already a script for that. I recall someone making a "smart glue" tool for ReaPack.

I think I've seen a script from Outboarder, but this script is complex, there is a contextual window that pops up, you have to tick several options. SPK77 also has a script that could do it I think, but it also needs a user input. I have never used them, but I *think* that they have options to "leave silence".

What would be nice though is to have a simpler action that does not need any user input (many use-case don't require additional clicks, they'd benefit from a simple action rather than getting lots of options).
