X-Touch mini, price keeps going up!
Anyone using the X-touch mini? I've been using for about 1 year now, when I bought mine it was $50 new. Now they are $80! just a few months ago they were $60...I guess Behringer is waking up.
At $50, the value is remarkable. But now I'm not so sure about the value at $80...it's definitely worth it considering all you get, but will it just keep going up and up since there isn't really anything comparable?
I should have gotten my 2nd and 3rd when I said I would, now it's not so much of a steal and harder to justify.
end rant.

My Guess
Two words: "Import Tariff" or two other words: "Trade War".
Designed in Germany but manufactured in China. I was looking at purchasing a second X32 Rack mixer but the price jumped from $999 to $1299 about three weeks ago. That's 33% and aligns with the impact to my company's products that have a significant amount of tariffed parts.
EDIT: Forgot to answer your first question. Yes, I use one regularly to control FX parameters. I paid $50 for mine about two years ago. Just started looking at CSI to see how well it works with the XT Mini.

Well that is some good insight, thanks for sharing. Wow, 30% increase, that's not small!
I use CSI for all of my surfaces except the XT mini, actually. The mini is just so easy to setup with just the stock action list, or even ReaLearn...so I haven't really needed to try CSI with it. Unlike the other surfaces where you need CSI to get more functionality, with this you really don't. Any button/rotary can be assigned to anything already.

Yeah, it's weird alright. I payed 68 a year or two ago. Great unit. Now it's 42 here. I already keep a second unit as a spare.
Sorry that trade war rubbish is hitting you.
