Default regions question

I want each region to automatically be time selected and keep looping with a keystroke

Alt 2 for example takes me to region number 2 but there's no time selection around it

Code:
SWS: Select next region
SWS: Goto/select next marker/region
SWS/S&M: Go to/select region 1 (obeys smooth seek)
SWS/S&M: Go to/select region 2 (obeys smooth seek)
SWS/S&M: Go to/select region 3 (obeys smooth seek)
SWS/S&M: Go to/select region 4 (obeys smooth seek)
Either of those would probably do what you want. And if not, you can probably use them to create an action that does.

i find it weird it can't be done without SWS extensions

Well... if SWS already has actions for it, why should the Reaper devs bother to work on implementing it again? There are so many other things that they can better spend their time on.

I regard SWS as part of Reaper, I think most of us do.
