Default Hide unused note rows - question.

Hi !

In Midi Editor, when i execute function: "Hide unused note rows" , the piano roll on the left switches from viewing note names to note numbers (?).

Why on earth is that ? I didn't ask for that.

Totally illogical imho, to change that view when switching to "Hide unused note rows"

I want to keep piano roll viewing note names ,when executing "Hide unused note rows".

Am i missing something or shall i post this as a feauture request ?

I noticed it too and I use that feature a lot. It's quite annoying, but I just double-right-click each note and type the name in there and get on with it. I feel your pain though.

To clarify: Custom note names (eg from note name files) are shown, auto-generated note names aren't. That's true not only on the keys (row headers) on the left, but also for note names shown on notes. And also with "Hide unused and unnamed note rows".

Although I never run into this as I use note name files with all my drums and drums is the only situation where I use the hide rows feature, I'd support a FR to have the auto-generated names shown on both, row headers and notes .

Has the feature request for it been created?

While not a piano roll, glad I found this as a workaround https://stash.reaper.fm/v/38505/Pian...mes%20Pack.rar
