Default wavpack editing

i have been told that reaper will allow me to edit a wavpack file. is this correct ?

at this point, i am having a problem calling up a file to edit, at all.

if i click "open project", it gives me a screen. i can get to one of my wavpack folders, but it shows no files. i thought at first that it just wouldnt edit wavpack files. so i went to a folder with mp3 files in it, and it still didnt display any files.

i have not purchased it yet, if that makes any difference. i want to see if it will do all the things that i am looking for. at this point, i am still on the ground floor, as i cant call up a file to edit, and play around with.

thanks for any info.

A project is where the audio files are set out - it's not an audio file itself.

Try clicking on "Insert" then "Media file" and browse to where the files you want to edit are located.

Oh - yes it will allow editing of files in Wavpack format - that's the format I always use.
