Record on start up

Forgive me if this post is in the wrong place.

I have been using a licensed version Reaper as a recording tool since version 3

I now have the need to regularly get something recorded when I am absent. I can make a windows scheduled task open Reaper, but I can't find any way of arming tracks and starting record as soon as the program opens.
Can any one offer any thoughts on this matter?
