So, you're trying to move the playhead to skip to the part you wanna audition, but instead you create a one pixel wide looping selection in the explorer timeline. Does this happen to you often? At least to me it does, and it's highly annoying. I think sensitive mouses compound the problem, because there is no minimum limit for the amount of pixels moved in order to start the selection. Some programs offer a preference for this, so you could for example ignore drag-select until the button has been held down and the cursor has moved at least four pixels.
This problem doesn't arise as often in the arrange window, because you usually have snap on, or explicitly have snap off and make the selection in the ruler area.
For media explorer it's a different story, as it's the only way to select stuff, and there's no snap option.
Please offer a (global?) option for delaying drag-selection until the mouse moves at least x pixels.
