Default Batch Rename Region / Marker Tool?

A useful thing in Nuendo is a simple batch renaming tool that can be applied to your region list. E.g, I forgot to add a prefix, or made a repeated typo in a bunch of regions that I intend to export to individual files with those name, I can batch rename them without having to rename each region individually.

Is there a way to do this in Reaper?

Works for me. Maybe you could explain your workflow?

I looked at your question in the other thread, and I would guess that there was some problems with the download, not with the script itself. Files with the "part" suffix are typically partially downloaded files; while downloading the file is called <filename>.part, and is renamed to <filename> once the download is finished and the file is determined to be correct. Probably your download through ReaPack was interrupted. Try again.

I tried a bunch of times, on two different machines. Same error every time.

So you get the error while installing the script from reapack or when you launch the script after the install process is completed?

Can you download other scripts? Maybe your virus protection is overactive?

Note that I also have Script: X-Raym_Search and replace in markers names.lua (and regions version) in my repo (it can add prefix etc)

Sorry I missed people's replies to this.

I open the Browse Packages window, look up the script, right click on it, select install, then press OK in the Browse Packages window and immediately get the error.

Quote:
Scripts\ReaTeam Scripts\Various\amagalma_gianfini_ReaNamer (track-item-region-marker renaming utility).lua.part:
No such file or directory

Scripts\ReaTeam Scripts\Various\amagalma_ReaNamer utf8data.lua.part:
No such file or directory

Other packages seem to install fine.

If it makes a difference, I'm using a portable install on my google drive local location.

This is super weird. Maybe @cfillion could shed some light on this?
