Default Gaps in render (SOLVED)

has tehre been a report on this before?

Im using beta 2 of course, and it seems like on some renders reaper puts a gap of silence of differing lengths towards the end of the render.

some plugs that i am using at this time are

reaEQ

MAgix - Amphibia

Voxengo - HarmoniEQ

reagate

...

its a random occurance but limiting to realtime works.

It's been reported. There's a long thread here somewhere. I haven't had it happen on any of my machines though.

Yep been happening to me for a long time.

I originally thought it was UAD-1 related, but maybe not.

I wish Justin or one of the developers would pay some attention to sorting this out. New versions & skins are great and all but the fundamentals should be attended to first. It's just not a good look

I get this occaisionally. I have no idea why sometimes it's good, and sometimes it's not, but the gaps are always at the end of the rendered file, and most often happen when you render to stems.

what happens if render ahead in render is turned off?

If that helps, try removing non rea*plugs one at a time and see if it was a plug that caused it.

Setting disk writes to "synchronous" seems to have fixed it here.

Done a few renders without any issues.

Is there any performance(or other) downside to using this mode?

this worked for me too.

I had no active plugins during render. They were all bypassed, and i still had the problem before resetting the modes.

How does one go about "setting disk writes to synchronous"?

The options have changed a bit since back then but try enabling this...
