Default How to Update Reaper?

I got Reaper in October of 2010, not sure what version I have. I have a few questions regarding downloading updates:
1) Where do I go to download the updates?
2) How do I determine what version I have? (I am using a Mac)

Thanks.

I don't have the Mac version, but assume it is similar to the PC version. The help menu has "about Reaper" which will tell you your current version number. There is also "Check for new versions of Reaper" on the help menu, which will do just that.

Thanks, TexaCali. I did as you said and was able to download successfully. I've had my Mac for about 8 months and downloading anything is much different than how I downloaded stuff on my PC. Thanks!

I hear ya. My wife and daughter have Mac's, I use PC's. Anytime I have to do something on the Mac I'm always scratching my head. Funny thing is back in the mid 90's the situation was the opposite. When Microsoft released Windows '95 (around 1995) it was still 10 years behind the Mac. Somewhere along the way (Win 2k?) the PC got good enough, and many of us yielded to market pressure...and forgot how to use our Mac's.
