I have been looking at js more lately. There is so much potential there, for anyone who can get over the humps involved in writing js effects and wrap their head around the math for writing more sophisticated stuff.

I'm just glad everything I want for plugins (and more) is already covered without having to use some sort of bridge, or Jack.

I see it in the list VST/VSTi Plugins For Linux http://linux-sound.org/linux-vst-plugins.html But their instructions tell that "Compiling and Installing on linux (LV2 only)" and when I configure --enable-vst - build fails. https://drumgizmo.org/wiki/doku.php?...alling_-_linux |

I have noticed in the kxstudio Repository that drum Gizmo is shown also as a native Linux VST. Perhaps if you install it that way? That was my plan anyway. |

Linux Studio Plugins Project
Under Linux Mint, plugins from http://lsp-plug.in/ work only copied in one of the directories:
The usual directories for LinuxVST are: * /usr/lib/vst * /usr/local/lib/vst * /usr/lib64/vst * /usr/local/lib64/vst In other cases, there is an error about "can't find VST core". For VST version look here https://sourceforge.net/projects/lsp...s/lsp-plugins/ lsp-plugins-lxvst-1.1.2-x86_64.tar.gz (last version currently) |

Might be naive but is there some (easy) way to get linuxsampler as a vst in reaper native?

You can also use carla instead if that's easier, it acts as a front end for linuxsampler (as far as I understand it). |
