When we drop overlapped items (which are on separate media lanes) on a track which has not fixed item lanes, is it possible to automatically convert this track to "fixed items lanes"?

If we add any number of lanes above 20 and then undo, the items are overlapping above each other. Then if we move one of those items the lanes go back to 20.
Not to mention what happens with 100 lanes (which i just tried to see the limit :P)

I'd really like to help, but I'm unclear on the best way to do so. Do we have a single place for the lanes discussion or are we just keeping it with each new dev build post? I'm trying to catch up with "where we are" at the moment in order to keep my comments relevant.

I think if you're posting a bug or potential bug, you'd post in the dev build posts. If you want to discuss how you think the feature should work, wishlists, etc. post in the comments thread.

That makes sense... so these threads are specific to how the specific feature branch elements are working.
But it seems there are several threads around the same bigger goal of Track Versions/Playlists. It would be nice if they were consolidated to one place for that discussion. If it is what it is, I'll do my best. Thanks for the direction, thought!

Seems to be working fine here. You don't have "Preference > Plug-ins > VST > Enable ARA" unchecked, do you?

Do Intel AU plugins also run on a bridge in REAPER ARM? Or how does that work?

OK, you should probably direct this to the developer then.

macOS seems to automatically bridge them, which I haven't figured out how to disable (the automatic bridging seems to have some problems, hmph).
