Default One-click setup

Hi.

Would it be possible to create an click'n'run package with all the needed stuff to run NINJAM without the technical stuff? I'm thinking on something like this:

An installer that..

- Detects if ASIO is installed and if not installs AIO4ALL
- Installa Reaper (if not present) and a project that loads the NINJAM plugin and set up things properly
- Shows visual instructions on how to connect things

Could that be done?

I second this idea. This should be possible, all the goods are there.
It would attract a wider range of jammers.

Great Idea.
good vibrations,

Unfortunately there are endless combinations of hardware supported by ninjam. A really good tutorial is the standard way to guide folks through a process such as this, and I have not found one for ninjam yet.

mv is right, there are too many variables from so many different audio hardware configurations.
But the NINJAM setup stick is covering a lot of the problems people are running into.

REAPER is definably the easiest setup once past a few hurdles IMHO.

I agree, but you have to understand how a sequencer works (FX routing etc) and how to setup ASIO with the lowest possible latency. I've had a couple of sessions with ppl on messenger where we succeeded to setup things ("click on the 3rd pictogram from the right" etc), but the hardest thing is still setting up Reaper to the users hardware :-(
