Default FL Studio GUI vs Reapers GUI lag on macOS.

I have been trying out the newest beta of FL Studio on my iMac and its playhead and GUI is butter smooth compared to Reaper on macOS 10.13.3.., Why is Reapers playhead and GUI so noticeably laggy/horrible compared to FL Studio and Logic Pro X on macOS..???.

Because Reaper favors performance instead of GUI fluff, I'd say.

i don't feel any lag! GUI is different because it's different.

It's not about feeling, it's about seeing. Reaper's playhead IS laggyy/jittery/not smooth, this is a fact.

usually feel is a word used when we see something or ear. Otherwise feel would be arbitrary.

It is no secret that FL Studio has a very smooth GUI - it's built that way. Everything smoothly animated and no jittery visualys anyhwere. Reaper isn't like that (and is also why it's a bit more CPU efficient in the process).

So yes, you could say I visually benchmarked both.

i ment benchmark in terms of performance because in terms of GUI anyone can see the differences even with Jpegs

Surely making Reapers playhead run smoother will not affect its performance..?.

Reaper favours the clean development and scalability and with the minimum compromises for maximum configuration. FL favours workflow and user interaction without actions and so much configuration options . <--- feel
