Albert...I like this one and Imperial and SSL also...
Here's little things about this theme or Imperial :

-The record button to be seen when TCP is minimal more practical than phase. (Solaris)

-When tracks are colored it's easier to read the label if it's not colored in MCP. (Imperial)

Will we see some layout ?
Some people working on Solaris for layouts ? ...sounds like a forgotten theme here since SSL...

I gotta say, I think something like this should always be done because it CAN become very difficult to tell for certain when a track is or is not selected. Just a slight shift in color or tone is not nearly good enough for me!

I am so used to working that way in my own theme that when I go to something like the v4 default it really is bothersome.

Now I really do userstand it's not an easy thing to add when you have a lot of layouts... but in the long run, to me, it's the way to go.
Just to bump another idea that would make this theme more awsome than it is IMO.

Cool, and quite understandable. I only hope the naggers will stop posting "when will it be ready?" blasts. These threads would only have about a third of the posts without them. Unfortunately, I'm predicting that there will only be more of those posts.

Give the poor guy a break already.

We'll be looking forward to seeing your accomplishments when you're ready to get back to it, Albert.

Very very good theme!
It is a pity that there is no final version, not made stereo pan/dual pan layout, and very high contrast timeline.

Change your username to Offensive Rhodes, mate.
Albert has not only contributed a massive amount of his time and effort on all his themes, he has already said he doesn't want to finish this one, so give the guy a break.

You nagging him in TWO threads about this is not going to change reality. Get over it. I have, much as I loved this theme.

You COULD always learn Walter and finish it yourself of course.
I'm sure Albert would not mind

Oh, lighten up. Life's too short for this crap.

I recently found images of these two unfinished masterpieces of and was expressing my disappointment that they are going no further, because they are both fantastic. These themes are obviously the work of a master craftsman.

As far as "get over it" - I suffer no illusion that anything I say here is going to effect any change to... "reality".

Rather than "nagging", my posts are an expression of playful, anger-in-jest that, after the tease of the aforementioned images, we apparently will never see these lovely things fully realized.

So, I'll change my name if you'll change yours to IvanQuixote.

Ha ha! Now that really IS funny - you're whining about a theme and you attribute it to the WRONG guy?

And I am changing MY name to "Ivanideayoudontreadthingsproperly"

P.S. There is actually yet ANOTHER thread on this specific theme where a French member said he is going to try and finish the WIP of SSL, but again it could take a LONG time.

In the meantime I donated to Albert and now use his Protools theme, pending the one he is currently working on getting finished.
Give it a try, you might find it works well for you, if you didn't already get it.

P.P.S. "my posts are an expression of playful, anger-in-jest" - it is always safer to use a grinz smiley to remove any doubt that you might be serious.
Anything can not-happen-really on the internet and usually does. (cue grinz smiley)

OK. I'm an idiot (too many themes swimming around in my head). But I'm not a whining idiot.

Re: Grinz smiley - point taken.

Albert's Protools, huh. Thanks for the headsup, I'll check it out.

this is absolute the only little-big problem with this theme
when minimize the track ,the rec-arm disappear
but the phase button is really not that useful
if this can be fixed this theme will nearly perfect

I think the buttons on rado vox were well thought out in that regard.

Maybe something to look into.

Thanks for the theme.

Make a backup of the rtconfig file. Find whatever makes sense as the name of the button you like and don't like. Use the find and replace feature in notepad to replace all of one of them with some random word that will be unique so find can find it again. Rename the other one what the thing you just changed was, and then go and replace all the new words you created with the button name you just replaced.

This will switch the buttons place. They will need to be the same size for this to work correctly. If they're a different size the images will be resized to fit their new location.

Alternatively you can learn a bit of Walter and do more intricate changes.
