Default Merging multiple tracks into a single track with takes

I searched and didn't find this situation, so hopefully I'm not covering something that's been answered previously.

I have several projects I am taking into Reaper from some ProTools projects. I do not have pro-tools so am using the raw audio files.

I was able to bring in the media into new tracks, organized by the various recorded instruments and properly lined up.

However, I'd ideally, I'd like to have the various takes on a single track rather than their own track.

For instance, I have 4 full-takes of drums (kick, snare, mono room, high tom, low tom, etc.) I have them all lined up great but editing is less than ideal.

Rather than selecting the take/section I want and making it active, I have to cut and drag the section I want onto an additional take - muting and unmuting the tracks I am reviewing and editing.

I'd like to create a single track for Kick and each of the current kick media/tracks brought into that track as a take.

I hope this makes sense.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
