Default MIDI Recording Accumulation

I'd like to add some MIDI drums to a song I'm working on, and I'm wondering if there's a way to record a MIDI channel and then re-record over it and ADD to the pre-existing MIDI take? Currently it creates a second take. I'd like to record over an existing MIDI take and just hit one key (kick drum for instance) and then the next pass just the toms, and the next pass the cymbals, etc.

Eventually after getting enough of it down I could then go in and edit by hand in the MIDI editor to get things just right.

Five minutes later I found it.

Right click on Arm For Recording button -> Record: Midi/Overdub/Replace -> Record: MIDI Overdub
