Default Record a Vocal Track with Iphone - Import to REAPER

Greetings.

I made a HOW TO video showing how I use IPhone to record audio vocal tracks on the fly when I'm on the road. Then, I import the audio tracks to REAPER and use them as guides in the creative process. I record the real vocals in the studio, not Iphone.

This method is useful for artists who need to capture vocal ideas whenever inspiration hits and they don't have access to a real studio. I find it very efficient to be able to jam/sing random melodies on my songs at will, in various settings.

Here, I used the Garageband app that comes for free within the Iphone at purchase. I also used the Apple Ear Bud that came with the phone. These ear buds are really amazing, because they have a built-in microphone inside the ear buds. They let you hear the music and record vocals at the same time without bleeding, which is phenomenal. I also show a quick and efficient method --using the free SYNCIOS software- to get files from the Iphone to the PC, so they can be imported/exported to a real pro DAW like REAPER (i.e. the best DAW on the market).

If you have any questions let me know.

How cool is that! Iphone as a multitrack recorder to capture inspiration vocal ideas for song writers
