Default "Past Midi capture" feature like Ableton?

When Ableton 10 came out I saw it had a feature where it captures your last played midi notes regardless of if you're recording (for quick ideas, remembering the thing you just played, etc). My question is, doesn't Reaper also have this feature or am I remembering wrong?

Here's a gif of what I'm talking about just in case I explained it poorly!

This new one by mpl is even better I think as it doesn't require the transport running for it to work.
