Default Main_SaveProject(filename)

Hi! Here's my function request:

reaper.Main_SaveProject(proj, forceSaveAsInOptional, filename)

I think it would be useful to have an option to save projects without popup windows. Now if project wasn't saved, the window with where-to-save directory opens every time when using this function.

With this function we can easily make such interesting things as automatically saving projects to specific directories, for example, depending on the content of the project

+1 on this. If the Loadproject-function allows "free" project selection, then save definately should have that too...

+1 on this, Now that we have Main_OpenProject support templates, I'd like to be able to save the project with a suggested name

Yeah but afaik you can’t use this to do a « save as » with copying the items to the folder.

Yeah the SaveProjectEx function has flags for media and envelopes to be saved with track templates, but not with projects. It'd be great if it had the option to 'copy media' when saving a project too.

Yeah and also, right now it only « write a copy of the project » rather than saving as (Thus changing the active project’s name)

If:
I currently have « ProjectA » opened
I use the function to create «Project B »
« Project B » will be created on the disk BUT Reaper’s currently active project will still be « Project A »
This is not how Save As currently works.

Actually, neither Main_SaveProject() nor Main_SaveProjectEx() will save an unsaved project for me. The latter throws an error and asks "Does the path exist?" (The folder exists...)

Is it even possible to save an unsaved project without popping up a file name dialog? Is this the error I'm getting a bug? Or perhaps I'm not calling it right?:

Code:
reaper.Main_SaveProjectEx(0, "New_project_name", 0)
