Default Building a live set. One project or sepaparte projects for each song?

Hi, I'm starting to build a live set for a one man looping set using nabla looper and I'm wondering if I should make on project for the whole set or a project for each song. I've seen people do both and I have I good idea on how I'd set it up with a separate project for each song, but I have no idea where to start I were to do it all in one project.

What instruments I need to have in each project will be a matter of trial and error, but I'll probably have battery, a couple of synths, piano, guitars and vocals in each song. I plan to record as many of the instruments on the spot and have the songs arrange themselves with nabla looper and program each song with action markers so tracks are automatically enabling record and changing what is playing and muted and so on, so I only have to focus on playing and singing. This also means I need to have very particular setup as tempo and arrangement triggers need to be tailored for each song.

What do you people think is the most reliable for live play? How have you set up your live sets. Is it safe to have 10 different project tabs open at the same time or will that cause instability?

I always use separate tabs
You can’t break the whole timeline by editing one song, especially with complex tempo mapping
You can easily change one tab within your set
You do not have to load the whole set all the time.
I often use 50+ open tabs with no problem on a 2012 MacBook Pro

Thanks, good to know. This is what I'd prefer to do. I'll check out your post
