Android / iOS controller for Reaper

hi, I bumped into this:

anyhow with StudioOne i have an app that lets me control S1 fairly well , when I'm not directly in front of my DAW e.g. recording vocals

So what's available ? and viable ? i.e. what do you all most like ?

I'd be interested to know if anyone has found anything better than either of these, but there are 2 I know of that work fairly well.

1. Reaper web remote - built into reaper. You can set it up in the control surfaces and osc menu and access it through a web browser. As it's over wifi it's not instant, but it is reliable and good for being able to control reaper while recording things.

2. TouchOSC - This is paid (or at least, it was when I bought it a few years ago) and it's potentially better than the web remote, but it doesn't seem to connect reliably both ways (it might be that the ios version works better than the android one). It's great when it does work though, and if you're someone (or know someone) who can create a custom layout for it for exactly what you want/need, then even better.

reaper web control is really easy to set up. And it works.

Burtan: As you know I bought the original OSC Commander version some time ago for my android tablet. I now have an iPad. DO I have to pay again to buy it for the ipad too?

I can`t use both at once....

Even if I wanted, there is no way to tell the Apple Appstore that you bought from the Google Playstore or the other way round. It is the same for other cross platform apps (Lemur, TouchOSC). But of course you could use an iPad and am Android Pad at the same time, e.g. one for Reaper and one for RME TMFX or whatever.

No problems. At least you get some money out of it if I buy for the ipad too!
