Default Kontakt 6 in Reaper

When I open a new instrument track , the kontakt 6 is not correctly working with MIDI keyboard but working with Piano, and if I would use with midi keyboard I should build 16 track in reaper not direct track.
please help me.

Welcome to the forum, Fouadsmy.

My quick guess is that Kontakt is not set to receive MIDI notes on the same channel that your MIDI controller is sending. In the Kontakt GUI, there is a button that says "MIDI Ch". Try setting that to "Omni" and see what happens.

If you don't know which channel your controller is sending on, go through the "MIDI Ch" selections in Kontakt one channel at a time until you're receiving the signal.

OR, now that you're receiving in Omni, in the piano roll, right click one of the notes you've recorded and check the "item properties". That should tell you what channel the note was sent on.
