Render Presets as Custom Actions
It would be amazing and convenient to have custom actions for render presets: press one button and you have your mp3 mix in your music folder, press another and you've got stems on your backup drive, etc.
Not sure if this is possible via script or not

That's definitely something I've been asking about and hoping for. It seems there's no way to do this with scripts yet.
Although this may not be perfect/complete maybe it's worth sharing what I'd noted:
A call to render using a named preset, with options to do it without changing the render dialog settings (so you can do a different type of render without affecting your usual render settings) and an option to do the opposite - only setting the dialog boxes without rendering (like clicking 'save & close' in render dialog)
We have 3 different types of presets for 'bounds & output' + 'options & format' + 'all' so that needs to be a parameter. There would also need to be parameters to set the other things that aren't stored in any presets, like the checkboxes at the bottom.
Does that all make sense? Have I missed any considerations?
Cheers,
Drew

Yeah that sounds pretty thorough. For now I'm doing it using mouse macros

A friend of mine did this via OSC (in fact using Beyond Python).
He explained to me that the problem was that for each rendering a Window pops up and a button needs to be pressed, and this can't be remote-controlled.

Would make life a little easier when working on sample packs for example. Hit the 'Claps export' action and all selected claps go in to the Claps folder with the correct naming convention. BAM!

@puddi
You can now alter render settings with API,
and also mespotine bring API render features to utlrashall,
so you can do definitly script such scripts, with or without dependency.

Oh interesting, but unfortunately I can't script for my life.

@puddi
You can publicly ask for a volunteer on JSFX forum for what you need, and hopefully someone will be able to help,
or sponsor a scripter which could then dedicate time to develop for you what you need :P This is more for professionals of course.

Yeah, that's a more viable option for someone like me. I'll definitely look in to it, thanks!

I added into ReaPack repo some render related actions 2 or 3 months ago, when render API was introduced.
