Default How to open multi-channel midi-files?

Acid opens them as several tracks with different instruments, Reaper opens as one channel , all notes are in one midi-item/ Please help

This has been requested several times since many feel it's an essential feature. However, right now it's not supported.

Hopefully this will be added someday. In the meantime, Google for "MIDI Utilities" or similar. I remember a guy on another forum going on about a freeware tool that would split a multi-track MIDI file into separate files. If I get time I'll look for it myself. I usually open them in PTPro and then save as separate files.

it would be nice if someone made a utility that took a multichannel midi file and exploded it into a folder with all the seperate files inside.
