Default Using Reaper to Learn Complex Bass Parts

I've been working on some fairly complex tunes lately (Rippingtons, Frank Gambale, YellowJackets, etc...). I own Amazing Slow Downer and Song Surgeon but neither of them was getting me to what I needed to hear. So Reaper to the rescue. I've created the following FX Chain:
MSED by Voxengo - to cancel the sides
ReaEQ - lowpass everything below 300 (adjusted depending on the tune)
ReaPitch - Shift up an octave to define the really low notes (a lot of 5 string bass stuff) - Switch on and off as needed.

I then set the Playback Rate to Preserve pitch and slow it down for the really fast stuff.

Just amazing how much better this works over other tools that are specifically for this purpose.
