Default Adjusting level of 1 channel in poly wav

I'm new to reaper and have started working on audio for VR. The suite I'm using has an ambisonic decoder that goes on a single ambisonic poly track. I need to know how to adjust the level of one of these channels, the W channel or omni capsule, without affecting the the level of the other channels on the poly track or the ambisonic plug in routing. Thanks!

Straightforward routing. Just route your multichannel track to individual mono tracks and then back to your multichannel bus. Mix from the mono tracks as desired.

Thanks for your quick reply! I just need to dig into the guts of reaper and figure out the routing then.

Sends/returns.

Click the I/O button on a track to see the dropdown menus.
You can click/drag from the track I/O area to another track for a shortcut.
There's also the routing matrix view.
Note that the 'master/parent/ send checkbox is literally a special case shortcut to make a send to the Reaper master bus (or parent folder track if you use the older folder method of routing). (This is the confusing one for new users because it makes it look like something different/special is going on.)
