Default UAD issues

For some reason I cant seem to find why Reaper and UAD are now always offset from each other on the buffer. The plugins work fine when Its a subgroup or the master but the minute I put them on an audio track Reaper tells me that the expected buffer is 2048 even though all settings on both UAD and Reaper are at 1024.

I've already uninstalled and reinstalled everything so I am at a complete loss as to how to proceed. I have a bunch of work with very firm deadlines to meet and now I'm having to find workarounds at a time where I do not have the luxury of time for experimentation. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

is this on Mac or Windows?

How does REAPER tell you that? It shows a dialog with a warning?

if they are indeed 1024 sample out then you'd hear that on your tracks. Is that the case, or is it just the numbers don't match?

I seem to have discovered the reason behind this. It seems to only happen when I oversample UAD plugins in Reaper. So long as I do not oversample the entire chain and only do it on the individual plugins that are not UAD everything is fine. Weird, it must have something to do with UAD already being oversampled.

Thanks for the quick answer guys

Just out of curiosity, why are you oversampling UAD plug-ins? Most of them are oversampled already internally up to 192kHz.

I was using them with Reaper's oversampling options and I had oversampled the whole chain. It never occurred to me that it would change my buffer for the UAD plugins...live and learn
