Click+ALT & drag = copy a note

I'm used to this pattern very much: left mouse click + ALT (keyboard) and then drag the mouse. This way I can copy an existing item: For example a note in the midi editor in Logic. Or a layer in all graphic / UI design apps such as adobe. This UI pattern is sort of established and can be categorized as expected behaviour in general.

Can the Midi Editor in Reaper be configured to behave like this?

ctrl + left drag does this. You can change mouse modifiers in Preferences/Editing Behavior/Mouse Modifiers.
