2nd midi track muted
Hi there!
I'm having an issue with 2nd monitored track being muted while recording 1st one.
I have eg. keyboard1 on track1, arm rec, monitor, violin
then
keyboard2 on track2, arm monitor only, piano
When I record on track1, content on track2 is muted.
Play is fine

If I understand correctly, when you Record (MIDI) onto track 1, you want to hear the content of track 2 played back (through a VSTi)?
Turn off RecArm on track 2. (Or enabling 'Monitor track media when recording' might work - haven't tried it.)

Yes.
Turn off RecArm works, but then I cant play my piano.

Hold on, you're recording MIDI onto track 1, aren't you? Why owuld you want that MIDI to go to track 2 too?
I must have missed something is your description.

Well, yes, but then next moment I'd need to check some chords on the piano.
And I would prefer to do that without scrolling and arming on/off each time.
This is especially when arranging.

Would it help to enable "Automatic Record Arm when selected" for each track?

Well, it's not exactly perfect.
I'll check out if changing midi recording mode makes any difference.

For track 2 try to enable both Monitor input and Monitor track media when recording (via right-click on the Arm Rec or Input Monitoring Button).

Ah, of course.
I'll check that it works, but expect that to solve the issue. Thanks!
