Kontakt disappeared

I've had Kontact installed for years...

Have only changed on thing recently, I clicked the latest Reaper upgrade a week or so ago...

Now it won't find Kontakt...

I've re-scanned plugins, cleared cache and re-scanned, still nothing.

Anybody know how to fix this?

Oh...for some reason a couple of my main VST folders were missing from the VSt folders path.

often this sort of problem arises when upgrading with the wrong version of Reaper, ie 32 bit instead of 64 bit or vice versa.

? for what reason... did you move them or delete them or what...

folders don't move on their own

the folders were still there on my harddrive, in same place...but somewhow they were gone from the VST folders list in Reaper...I surely wouldn't have deleted the paths from Reaper.

If it is just missing from the folder path, then just replace the missing path that is very simple to solve the problem.
