Default 2 mixers, MIDI note ZOOM

Hey guys. Have a 2 questions. I want to set my screensets/layout, but I found a problem. I want the track inspector on the left side of the screen. I can do it. But then I loose my mixer... I want that track inspector on the left but I want to keep my mixer on the second screen. Is it possible to do it?

And the second question. Where do I set a MIDI window ZOOM to selected note? I'm already sick of it when I edit my MIDI and I select the note and zoom. It zooms to the play cursor. Yes I can change it in preferences to zoom to a mouse cursor. But I want to ZOOM on a selected note only in MIDI. When I edit audio I want to keep it to zoom to play cursor.

As far as I know, you can only separate a master track from mixer.

Or try, for example, HeDa Inspector or other.

Follow these steps:

First, open the MIDI editor.

Second, go to Actions> Show Action List

Next, type in 'Zoom to note' as a filter, REAPER will find the correct action. (Provided you have the action, usually by it being included on install, or by being installed through the REAPACK Package Manager.)

Next, follow the steps outlined in this screencap, in numerical order.

Now, in your MIDI editor, you have the shortcut 'Ctrl+Alt+Z',
and it works! (You can make the shortcut something else.)

Best,
Never

P.S. In case you need REAPACK....(Everyone should have it)

I have several screensets and they do exactly what you are asking about

they work across dual monitors

you simply have to set things up as you want to see them, including how stuff is docked and save that as a screen set...

Ahh very nice. I tend to post before I ponder. I guess there are 100 ways to this end. Thanks hopi.
