*** Receiving audio from a slave machine?

Hey guys,

I want to run a vst on a slave machine (Windows XP) and bring the audio to my main machine (OS X).
A solution would be to take the audio out of the slave and into the main machine.

However, to avoid D/A and A/D conversions, I was wandering if that could happen thought Reamote or another app. Or put it in another way, can I get audio through the Reamote cables/network?
