Preference changes cause REAPER to lock (FIXED)

Hi Justin,

Since around v1.05 I have been experiencing random crashes when altering Preference settings in REAPER. I now have a repeatable crash.

If I open and close the Preferences window more than 5 times in a row REAPER locks up and the only way to exit the program is to kill the process. I originally thought the crash had something to do with a VSTi being in the chain, but then I managed to crash it without anything in the Project by opening and closing the Preferences window as detailed above. Does it do it when you view any preferences pane, or does it have to involve opening the MIDI pane?

woo I actually managed to get it to do it on the midi pane too, lemme see why..

...and fixed on my system at least. I put this up as 1.12, too, since I feel it's important as hell.
