Default Pedal Controller

I am new to Reaper and MIDI. I have a Nektar Pacer pedal controller and it works great. It has an expression pedal input and I want to control a kick drum in SSD5 drums within Reaper with a pedal.

When the pedal is operated Pacer sends out a CC093. I do not know how to get it to activate a kick drum in SSD5. I do not know where this CC093 is supposed to go. I know there needs to be some settings applied, but in what order?

I like figuring stuff out but this has my head spinning lol. I have viewed YouTube vids but most are confusing at best. If someone can just point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I just went in and started searching and watching about 43 videos of Kenny G. He does a fabulous job with these videos. They are easy to understand and he just sticks to what he's teaching.

These three really helped me. Thanks again Kenny!
