Default ROLAND Vs2480 as control surface on Mac OSX

Yup, vs2480. Just got my v-fire too.

I am using the HUI mode and it works sort of. But the main features I want is mute/solo, and to get some plugin parameters adjusted by knob, fader or jog wheel. Mute/solo works fine, the latter not.

Does anyone know if this is doable? Would it be possible to make a user template that works better? Or even just use the midi mode on the vs2480? I know there is some solution for 32 bit reaper on PC.

I would like to not dive into this if it is a dead end...

By template do you mean a configuration for the SCI Reaper extension ? -> very likely.

Hi,

Thanks for replying.

Yes, I guess the CSI reaper extension is what I am after. Is that project close to having a guide for noobs?

Edit: I looked at the thread some more and the github wiki. It seems like a great project. I hope I can find time to get into it.
