CLAP REAPER UI: Dropdown for stepped params on Linux only?

While developing a CLAP plugin for REAPER without a custom UI, I noticed that on Linux, REAPER will paint a nice dropdown menu for stepped parameters:


However, that doesn't seem to be the case on Windows, where REAPER is just drawing a slider:

The MIDI device list is filled with names even for non-existing MIDI devices on Linux. But these are empty on Windows. This made my CLAP plugin behave differently per platform. Hence on Win, REAPER would decide that the list wasn't complete and use a fader while the list would be complete on Linux and a dropdown was used.
