Default My YT channel: Instrumental alt/prog & electronic music

Instrumental alt/prog guitar driven album "CAUGHT UP"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lgY...ichaelGallardo
L/R double tracked guitars, bass, drums, and some interludes in between the longer tracks.

And recently just made some more electronic style with no guitars at all
"Swim" - Dub influenced "techno" (I think? haha)
https://youtu.be/SmAWPb8cXDw
Just kind of wanted to make something with no guitars at all since the album I made was all guitar. This track is built using a lot of send fx and feedback loops to slowly build the density of the mix. I also used sidechain compression for the first time on track which was a lot of fun making the low end pump and move around in new ways.

Hello- well that was awesome.
5 tracks got most attention & fired up the most :
Atrapados
Strange King
Andromeda Bay
Que Tipo De Preguntas
Asterisk

All equally great- skills shine through..production is clear- incisive.

A new one "Valley of the Kings"
https://youtu.be/y3-3Oal_ktk

I dont really know how to describe the genre of it
It's got some key changes and some meter changes and ends in kind of a downbeat 3/4 slow jam thing

I developed a habit of ignoring stuff without fancy presentation to somehow filter out the information overload. So I skipped this before on account of being just pictures on youtube. Looks like I was wrong, this sounds and flows very nicely. Fantastic guitars and those little abstract interludes between the bigger tracks are indeed great. Really nice for the autumn playlist.

I got through 4 on the album and gotta get some other things done round here. But dude, excellent playing and mixes. I was listening on my laptop with sony headphones and it's boss.

My only critique is I like vocals and lyrics. So an album of all instrumentals feels like something is missing. Try not to let that come across as a jab at your musicianship or quality of the rest of what you do. Cuz that be some HIGH QUALITY music.

I'm just being honest. And having said that, when the music is as intricate and well played, the vocals aren't missed quite as much.

Furthermore, I put vocals on my songs and can't play or record anywhere near as good as you. So much good they do in my case. LOL.

Great job.
