You could type in the full unix path.
type this in terminal:
>mount
this should display all your drives connected at the moment.
Then, find and type in the correct path based on what mount point your external drive is mounted to.
I'm confused, and this could be because I'm clearly not a mac user, but isn't there a browse for folder button tho?
Sorry if I'm missing something, or that button's not there.
